WE CAN, Collective solutions

One of the critical aspects that make teams work well and successful is how the group as a whole make a collective decision. Whenever the need arises to make collective decisions, each team member needs to have some common insight, knowledge and understanding that could enable him to work together with his colleagues and get to an agreed solution. The brain works through dialogue and communication, which allows group members to articulate their views. That is why the search for common ground must be creative and sincere, based on understanding and goodwill and respect of everyone’s opinion. When you use KissTheFrogNOW, you are improving your team decisions and relying on understanding and friendship.

Tips & Tricks

Where?

It is recommended that you make sure the team activities are going to be conducted in a room different than the workplace. You could use a training room or a bigger meeting room. You should preferably have enough room to work in groups and carry out the games that include movement. In favourable weather conditions, you could conduct the activities outside as well.

Sharing in a circle

Regardless if you are working with the whole group or you have been separated in smaller groups, favour the circle arrangement. Sitting in a circle is going to facilitate trust and transparency.

Reflection

Take 15-20 minutes for sharing and reflection with everyone at the end of the day, after the activities have ended. The facilitator can use some of the following questions: What did today’s experience give you?, What was the biggest surprise? Which activities contributed the most to yourself and the team? How are you feeling right now? What did you learn today? Does anything come to mind that you could do with or for your team?
